New material in the works...
First of all, thanks to the many fans who have been attending the shows over the past couple of months. The band has been playing a lot of frequent shows and it's nice to always have support out there!
The band will be cutting back on shows for the next couple of months in order to take some time to write a few new tunes. What we have right now is great! We just want to extend our playlist with even more songs. Hopefully this period of writing will get us that much closer to being ready to record and release a new full length CD.
In other news...If you have taken a few moments to look at the website you'll notice a few new pages are up. We'll be posting new reviews and photos as they come in, so stay posted for updates! - 4/15/04

Get ready cause here we come! Broken Monk has been working hard underground for almost a year now, preparing to bring you some of the best and freshest new rock to hit the Arizona music scene. After only about a week of solid booking attempts, Broken Monk has exploded onto the scene! In a matter of days, the Broken Monk March concert calendar filled up to the brim and is spilling into April and the following months. BROKEN MONK Releases Their Debut Demo CD!
The band recorded their first sampler album out of audioconfusion and REALTIME Recording located in Tempe, Az. Two singles off the debut album, "A New Beginning" and "Your Reality", are now available to fans everywhere. Come to a show and you may get one for free!
